About the Role
This contract-based position is specifically suited for chemists and materials researchers who desire flexible, project-driven engagement. You will evaluate spectra and characterization outputs from partner facilities, conducting structural elucidation and purity assessments to ensure seamless turnaround for active research investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret chemical, spectroscopic (FTIR, NMR, UV-Vis), and chromatographic datasets with rapid turnarounds.
- Provide validated spectral assignments and phase identification for synthesis verification.
- Collaborate with lead analysts to verify characterization accuracy and resolve ambiguous findings.
- Deliver well-structured analysis summaries ready for incorporation into academic publications.
Requirements & Profile
- M.Sc or M.Tech in Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, or Analytical Chemistry) or Ph.D in Chemistry.
- Solid theoretical and practical grasp of molecular spectroscopy, NMR deconvolution, and elemental analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and deliver meticulous analytical reports.
- Excellent written technical communication.
